With students, faculty, and members of the Yorktown community dancing the night away together, the YHS Band Valentine’s Day Swing Dance Concert turned out to be a huge success! Not only was it a great way for everyone to show off their moves, but it was also a way to raise funds for the band program, earning a profit of $850! Special thanks to the Concert Band, Wind Ensemble, and Jazz Band for providing us with live music, our dance instructors (Clive and Suzanne) from Dance NY for teaching us some new moves, all the band students and parents who dedicated their time to help plan the event, and most of all, Ms. Kluga, who was the driving force behind the concert’s execution! This concert was a blast for all who attended and made this Valentine’s Day a very special one to remember!
