If you are not continuing in Band next year, please consider donating your polo! Place your polo in the collection box outside the band room door.
Thank you so much for the time you donated at our NYSSMA piano festival this weekend! We received rave reviews from everyone involved – the NYSSMA judges, executive organizers, and guests – all acknowledging our organized festival and respectful, polite, and helpful student volunteers. You really made our experience hosting this event a success! Thank you for your time and citizenship!

If your student is interested in continuing to practice over the summer (hooray!), some YHS-owned summer rentals are available. Rental fee is $25, check made payable to Yorktown Central School District. Please e-mail Ms. Kluga to reserve an instrument.

Place: YHS Murphy Field
Time: Arrive at the YHS Band Room by 8:45 AM. Sound check is at 9am. Ceremony is at 10:00AM
Attire: Please dress “nicely” (no jeans, t-shirts, or sneakers).
Bring: Your music, your instrument and water.
Students who perform at the graduation are eligible for 3 community service hours.
If you are interested in becoming a member of our core group of band parent helpers, please e-mail Ms. Kluga. She will be in touch in August to start planning our ’23-‘24 events. A big THANK YOU to all the awesome parents who made this year a success!
